WTCA's vision is to become a respected international platform that embraces cultural diversity and encourages inclusive scholarly and culinary engagement.
WTCA institutional records date the Academy's establishment to 26 August 2010 and its institutional public announcement to 30 August 2020.

This principle reflects the core of the Academy's vision. The Academy works to ensure that Turkish cuisine is introduced to the world not only as a rich culinary tradition, but as a cultural heritage shaped by centuries of history and by diverse influences.
It supports and encourages academic research that brings out the historical and cultural depth of the Turkish culinary arts.
The vision, stated
- To promote Turkish culinary culture across the globe, on accurate historical and cultural foundations.
- To foster appreciation of Turkish cuisine by providing truthful, accessible and meaningful knowledge.
- To encourage objective and scholarly research presenting Turkish gastronomy as a science-based cultural domain with a history of thousands of years.
Non-commercial scholarship
The Academy does not commercialise its reports, research papers or studies for financial gain. Institutional publications are generally supported by the Academy's own resources and published without commercial sponsorship, so that they remain accessible and aligned with its mission. Copyright in each work rests with its respective rightsholder as applicable.
Through education, research and international collaboration, the Academy contributes to the evidence-based international documentation and presentation of Turkish cuisine, guided throughout by truth, respect and cultural integrity.
