Türk Mutfağı Hareketi (TMDH)

A doctrine informing the Academy's research, documentation and publishing work.

The doctrine

The Turkish Cuisine Movement is the doctrine developed under the leadership of the Founding President. WTCA institutional records describe it as the first culinary doctrine written specifically for Turkish cuisine; that priority statement is an institutional claim, not an independently established universal finding.

Its instruments include the World Turkish Cuisine Institutional Heritage Inventory, WTCA's internal institutional inventory, in which documented works are entered.

The movement also sets the calendar the Academy keeps: 26 August as the Chefs' Day of Turkish cuisine and 30 August as its Victory Day. The grounds are set out here.
